ABOUT CRAMCURE
Genuine enthusiasm for learning something is so precious. It is within all of us, but distractions and obligations often lead us to neglect it and eventually trick us to believe that it never existed. We may receive signs to search for it later on, but it's up to us to take those steps.
-Vaishnavi Pachava, Founder and CEO of Cramcure
Learning is about being excited about knowledge. However, in several Type A communities, learning in a school environment has become something stressful. Rather than focusing on the core skills a school education system strives to equip students with, the system is praising numbers, ranks, and constant competition. While competition can motivate, too much competition deteriorates.
Speaking from personal experience, I have had moments when I was compressed by the expectations, reluctantly accepting the way it works on millions of occasions. Finally having graduated high school, I did learn a good set of skills like time management and maintaining my confidence. But at what cost? Sleepless nights, neglected personal health, and nervous breakdowns. Some high school students even inevitably fell into the traps of mental illness and substance abuse.
Cramcure strives to enable high school students to develop and apply valuable skills like effective communication, time management, and self-reflection to their lives by taking a human approach to understanding the process of learning. Our range of services help students embark on a journey through metacognition aka learning about learning by introducing them to techniques, approaches, and ideologies behind making learning worthwhile. Ultimately, we hope students discover their enthusiasm for and truly connect to learning, leading them to success in high school and beyond.
ABOUT me

I'm Vaishnavi Pachava, a student at the University of Pennsylvania in the School of Engineering and Applied Science. I studied under the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) and the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) in my high school years. Although I've found myself to achieve success in both curricula (45/45 in IBDP, 7 A*'s in IGCSE), throughout my academic journey I've come to understand that education could be so much more worthwhile if we focused more on key values like time management and self-reflection that come from understanding the process of learning rather than solely prioritizing scores and ranks. This realization led me to foster a strong passion for learning and develop Cramcure through which I hope to nurture that passion in other high school students.
